Taste of Christmas stronger than ever!

Taste of Christmas, the UK’s biggest Christmas food festival taking place from 7th – 9th December at ExCeL is celebrating its fifth successful year and is set to be the strongest event in its history. Ticket sales are strong with a 15% lead in front of forecast and the event is anticipating record visitor numbers for 2012.

Some of the world’s most famous chefs and London’s finest restaurants will be present, inspiring visitors with festive tips and tantalising Christmas dishes to re-create at home.  One of the world’s most famous chefs, Jamie Oliver, will open the show on Friday 7th December with a live cooking demonstration. Other world class chefs present will include Michel Roux Jr, Jean Christophe Novelli, Valentine Warner, Atul Kochhar, The Baker Brothers, Ben Tish, Vivek Singh and Bruno Loubet all demonstrating live In the Electrolux Taste Theatre.

A Festive Feasting ticket is a new element for the year, which provides visitors with fast track entry to the event, a glass of mulled wine on arrival, plus an exclusive 2-course sit down dining experience with wine. Guests will also get to take home a Taste recipe book (worth £10) and the ticket will provide access to all theatre sessions, tastings, demonstrations, master classes, Taste restaurants, the boutique food market, and a complimentary event guide.

A further new element for 2012 are morning and afternoon tea sessions which feature an indulgent menu of tasty treats created by Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts. A high tea ticket also includes fast track entry to the event, a welcome glass of bubbly and a copy of Taste Recipe Book (worth £10)
