Love Food Give Food Campaign

Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food campaign invites food lovers across the UK, from top critics, chefs and restaurants to food bloggers and individuals, to help get child hunger off the table by raising funds to feed some of the world’s poorest children.

From selling homemade cakes to your colleagues to hosting a fundraising supperclub at home, there are plenty of ways anyone can make use of their passion for food to get involved in the Love Food Give Food campaign.

"This is a great opportunity to be part of a premier fundraising campaign that is simple, rewarding and helping to raise money to prevent children dying from malnutrition. Just a little of your time and effort can make a positive difference to peoples' lives!" Raymond Blanc, OBE

"We're very privileged to make a living from selling food and drink and think it is really important to support Action Against Hunger to help people access these essentials when they are most in need." - Huw Gott, Hawksmoor

“What could be more worthwhile than helping people from going hungry? Action Against Hunger is a practical organisation where good intentions are turned into reality.” - Charles Campion, London Evening Standard

Action Against Hunger at Taste of Christmas

Please join in supporting Action Against Hunger at Taste of Christmas and help get child hunger off the table.

Action Against Hunger volunteer elves will be selling tickets for a fabulous food lover’s raffle, with dinners out at lots of the Taste participating restaurants up for grabs! Tickets are available for £5 each from the Action Against Hunger stand (stand number 224), the Shop & Drop, and elves walking around the show.

Action Against Hunger will also be running the show’s Shop & Drop cloakroom service, where you can leave your coats and shopping bags whilst continuing to explore the show. We’re asking for a minimum donation for the service of £1, with all the money raised at the Shop & Drop going directly to the charity.

Your Money at Work

To give you an idea of what can be achieved by supporting the Love Food Give Food campaign, Action Against Hunger reaches over 7 million people every year by, for example, providing safe water for communities and keeping easily-avoided diseases at bay. Emergency relief workers provide short term aid to those in disaster zones, or situations in which infrastructure and food supplies are not effective. Supporting livelihoods and enhancing coping mechanisms provides families and communities with the tools to find long term solutions. See here for examples of how

The love food give food website  has lots of information about where the money you help raise at the show will go, including supporting people like Nancy in Liberia, whose child suffering from malnutrition has been treated, and they’ve also helped ensure a sustainable future for her and her family with the support to grow her own vegetable garden.
