New for 2012 as part of Taste of Christmas' most international year yet, you could discover diverse gastronomic and cultural offerings from around the world in this new international feature. The perfect place to pick up some global inspiration. 

Tourism Flanders were showcasing the very best of Festive Flemish Fare at Taste of Christmas. Teaming up with them during the show were speciality food supplier and popular cafe owner, Belgique who provided the ultimate Belgian Christmas market experience in the form of bespoke food hampers, Belgian Beer gift packs and other speciality Christmas biscuits, chocolates, jams and preserves plus more “foodie”gift ideas. A good selection of the best Belgian beers were on sale and available to be sampled during the show, plus they teamed up with specialist Flanders tour operator, Short Breaks who offered special offers for discounted weekend breaks to experience Flemish gastronomy. Representing India was Moti Mahal, the chic London outpost of the celebrated Delhi restaurant which opened in 1959. Inspired by the culinary roots of rural India, Moti Mahal takes a journey along the Grand Trunk Road (a centuries-old trade route through India into Pakistan) and the result is a procession of regionally diverse specialities pointed up with artful spicing.
