Taste of Christmas proved to be the food and drink event of the season, with thousands of visitors enjoying an indulgent start to the Christmas festivities. 15 of London's top restaurants served up an enticing variety of dishes, from British classics and Italian tradition to modern Indian and contemporary Japanese. Some of the biggest names in the cheffing world took to the stage for exciting demonstrations and forums, including a conversation with three Michelin starred chef, Heston Blumenthal, who shared the makings of a few of his iconic recipes and answered the crowd's Christmas queries. And there was never a dull moment at the immensely popular Taste Chocolate, Taste Wine, Taste Beer and Taste Cheese micro events that were packed with visitors keen to find that perfect gourmet treat for the coming feast.
